We would like to invite you to COMA’s 2015 Christmas dinner party, which will be held on December 5th Saturday from 6:30 PM to 10 PM, at the Holiday Inn, 7007 N High St, Worthington. Come join us to eat, drink, dance, make merry, and celebrate the greatest festival on earth.
Dress code
This is a formal attire event, so please wear dinner formals – suits (tie optional), tuxes, dresses, and sarees.
The party
We’ve trudged away from the stage-show format and instead, this will be more of a cozy dinner and dance party. The venue will be a banquet hall with a dance floor on the center and with Christmas themed tables on either side. You will have an assigned table for the dinner but otherwise you are free to table-switch or roam around the hall.
We will have choreographed Christmas carols, professional piano recitals, party games, a party performer, and ballet performances. The banquet hall will be Christmas themed and visually reflect the holiday spirit.
Gift card donation / coat drive
Giving back to the community has been a common thread throughout this year for COMA, and we are continuing on that note for the Christmas party as well. You will have the opportunity to pick ornaments of your choice from the Christmas tree (gift card tokens from $10 – $20 for local department stores) as a giving back activity during the Christmas holiday season. COMA will donate these to two families in need via the YWCA center.
We also request you to bring any unused winter coats you have at home (new or gently used only). COMA will donate these to the YWCA center.
Professional DJ – sound and dance floor lighting
We will have a professional DJ who will be packing some intense audio power, sub-woofer and dance-lighting included. The last 90 minutes of the party will be non-stop music and dancing.
Food and drink
There will be appetizers served before dinner. Dinner will be three course, with your choice of entrée –chicken, salmon, or a vegetarian option. Adults will have the option to get a complementary glass of red wine. In addition we will also have a full cash bar at the venue, serving scotch, cognac, cocktails, beer, and wine.
